The Revealing Word Text, authored by Charles Fillmore, cofounder of Unity Movement –Angels are “A messenger of God; the projection into consciousness of a spiritual idea direct from the Fountainhead, Jehovah.” “Angel, of Jehovah–The quickening thought of God appearing in the form of light or divine intelligence, intuition, and understanding.”

CBS News.com dated 12.23.11 reported the results of a poll: “Nearly 8 in 10 Americans believe in angels.” The number of believers of angels most likely has changed very little since 2011.

Most of the readers of Revfrieda.com probably have had angelic or mystical experiences text book science does not or cannot explain. We may believe the definition of angels and angelic experiences and communications as being of God and divine in nature. Another explanation understands angelic and mystical messages, images and communications as heightened wisdom and divine in origin with the sole purpose of guiding human beings in the purest and quickest way.

If angelic activity and direct connection are known by us and within us as heightened messages, messengers of God wisdom, divine ideas, light-filled understanding, and intuitive guidance and knowing, it makes sense and feels real. A loving God would communicate using avenues we humans with Divine natures could readily receive. We can remember, with each prayer, in sincere asking, with every meditation, and in being mindful, we increase and tune into the finer and truer spiritual venues of angel-like knowledge, direction, clarity, and creativity.

Angel-like powers around us and within us providing messages and being messengers of good-will and protection is a possibility and probability. The veil of this life as we know it and the life just beyond is thin. It is feasible for Divine Love and care to manifest in physical form as the help and helper we require.

Harriet Beecher Stowe wrote: “Sweet souls around us! watch us still, Press nearer to our side, Into our thoughts, into our prayers, with gentle helpings glide.” I have known people who have not experienced the finer, delicate spiritual venues of revelation, of being present to these higher forms of divine messages and experiences. Why?

Reception to the higher dimension of Godly communications depend on our individual receptivity. If a person is in disbelief or denial of divine messages, messengers, and transmission, the lack of acceptance and unbelief serve as blocks to the elevated and divine helpers, messengers, and messages.

Recall how the shepherds were given direct guidance by the ‘angel of the Lord’ as written in Luke of the New Testament announcing Jesus forthcoming birth. Shepherds, commoners who kept watch of their sheep, were wise at heart and understood seemingly super-natural help is possible and probable. If I stayed up night and day as the Bible Shepherds, I would be dreamy and more than willing to receive help from God-like messengers.

The world of today is no different. We miss out on light-infused, higher communication from divine sources if we are not entertaining the possibility for the valued information and help. Believe, be open to such occurrences. They happen with consistency. As we are spiritual minded and attentive to divine knowledge, wisdom, and contemplation we receive.

Recall Dante’s Paradiso and how the Spirit-guide Beatrice took Dante on a special voyage to heaven and the divine Presence. Beatrice was grace in manifestation for Dante. She was a spiritual helper, guiding Dante into knowing God. Without her he would not have been so enlightened.

Likewise, Bodhisattvas are spiritual helpers who put off stepping into enlightenment for the sake of assisting in humanity’s awakening. I do not believe they are here for only Buddhists or Hindus. They provide their benedictions, wise counsel and messages to any person who is receptive. They are angel-like. It is comforting to know they are present and among us, here for us.

Furthermore, Myrtle Fillmore, cofounder of the Unity Movement, kept a picture of Jesus near her during the two years leading to her complete healing of Tuberculosis. She received no doctor cure or care–a cure for the disease was not known in the late 1800’s. She received powerful energy by trusting her ability to heal and in knowing Jesus life, teachings, and potent love. Her connection with Jesus no doubt contributed to her becoming free from disease.

Certainly, any one of us becomes an angel to someone, at some event, in whatever circumstance and provides the right words, healing touch, tone of voice, a divine presence and love that heals, uplifts, and with divine intervention or a message is an angel to someone, to an animal or group. Animals also have been known to be angels and the saving grace in emergencies, to forewarn, and to prevent and protect. The possibilities for divine help are limitless.

Each one of us has the capability, enough inherent desire, has the ability to receive and probably has already been blessed through dreams, in hearing divine messages, through direct inspiration, revelation, visions, images, insights and spiritual breakthroughs. We have the built in equipment for mystical experiences and spiritual awakenings. It is inspiring. May divine revelations and angelic messages and messengers frequent our lives.
