Beloved Mother Teresa said — “Whoever the poorest over the poor are, they are Christ for us — Christ under the guise of human suffering.” I interpret Mother Teresa as defining ‘poorest’ expansively, touching and applicable to every one of us. Sometimes we as lone individuals feel poor of spirit or poor of this or that. We can feel depleted, downhearted, worried and grievous.

Keep in mind today on your travels and moments of the day, keep in your heart many you meet casually or dearly, they are most likely suffering about and over something or someone. Could be nationally. Perhaps they are very concerned with the government or the management at the place where they work or frequent. They may be distraught over a friend’s hardship.

Many reasons why people may suffer. Have empathy first for self this day, in the moment now. Give consideration to each person you meet. We do not know what they may be bearing or carrying around on their shoulders or within their minds and emotional body.

Thus, give empathy and grace to yourself and those who are on your path of life today. It is a blessed thing to do. You are enriched and lifted now, Amen. Thank you beloved God for your presence of comfort, peace and perfect love.
