Have you had the experience of thinking adversely or held a ‘less than’ attitude about someone? Less than can pertain to us seeing someone in a dim light. For instance, we may believe a relative or friend of ours is acting in a less than desirable way. They are not living up to our perceived standards—or living up to their full capabilities.

Nonetheless, these thoughts might leave us with a feeling of incongruity, sensing these notions are not harmonious with our spiritual values.  Still, the relative or friend could certainly be out of step with his/her wholesome nature.

However, we each have the wisdom of Enlightenment within us. So it is with the person we may  be observing from a dimmer view rather than beholding them as enlightened. For, we have the inner ability of acknowledging their innate awakened potentiality even while appearances may reveal something less.

What’s more, I was going to quote from a book titled, Enlightenment, I have temporarily misplaced the book. How humorous. Another moment of life revealing the Truth. I cannot go to the book and quote from it. Yet, you and I can turn within and stand in the light of our awakened nature, which is never lost and ever present and readily accessible in us.

With certainty, our friend, relative or person has divine Light inherent in them, regardless of their behavior. They are not accessing the light of their true being temporarily. It is hidden from their sight briefly, but not permanently. And, there is something powerful we can do.

We can recognize, we are the one’s looking and viewing through our consciousness someone else in subdued light. Nevertheless, we can begin immediately to unite with our inner divine light, become unified with our enlightened self and see the other person, as well, standing in their light of pure enlightened wisdom.

Then we are alive and fully aware of the Universal Truth about everyone, including the relative or friend–a person’s indwelling ability to awaken at any time and shine with luminous brilliance.
