“Nothingness”
Soon winter will give way to spring. A night sleep brings needed rest and renewal. In sickness the body seems weak; yet, a great healing power is at work. In many instances I realize a mighty good unfolding in seeming inaction.
Trees, shrubs, grass, and other greenery are revitalizing in the inside during winter. When warmer weather arrives they have the inner power to spring into new growth and fresh color due to the energy stored within them.
I am not too much different. In nothingness which is usually underestimated, there is a restoring quality of life creating and generating new aliveness underneath the nothingness — when life seems inactive, still.
I respond to the inner nudge to take periods of not doing and embracing nothingness. Life likes balance. The body and mind require peace, rest and acknowledgement of a mighty element of regeneration when serene and relaxed.
Now I take the opportunity to be in nothingness–allowing the body to revitalize, giving the mind the space to be free of business. Instead I simply and gently focus on a candle, flower, God presence or a beautiful scene or object …………
I am serene and relax
My soul is restored
In letting go, I trust the invisible power within to bring wholeness to my entire being.
I rest in nothingness …………
Emerging from a time apart, I slowly move and feel a new sense of direction. I follow the light within and welcome life, reanimated. In thankfulness, Amen.
