Laughter
“God has blessed me with a sense of humor as a way of expressing joy.”
“Laughter is a form of healing therapy. A hearty laugh helps to stimulate the release of endorphins, a natural substance within my body that eases physical pain. When I laugh, my attention is shifted off health challenges and onto positive, lighthearted thoughts that promote healing.
“Just thinking about a humorous event can invigorate me physically. As I laugh, I take in air and fill my lungs with oxygen, which, in turn, rejuvenates the lifeblood of my body.
“I feel so good when I laugh, and I share this invigorating experience with others by telling a humorous story. Laughter is even more enjoyable when it is shared with others.
“God has blessed me with joy and a sense of humor as one way of expressing my joy. I am enriched by the benefits of laughter.”
“A glad heart makes a cheerful countenance.”–Proverbs 15:13
