Something the entire United States has in common, the anticipation of spring. Some southerly states are warming and the formation of leaves are visible on trees, shrubs and plants in general. It is an energetic time in the natural world in early spring. Claude Bernard wrote: “The joy of discovery is certainly the liveliest that the mind of (a human) can ever feel.”

I invite each person to look around today and see what new discoveries are found, indoors and outdoors in nature, with people, pets and living things. Also new realizations coming through our mind and feeling nature are worth noting.

Look for the blessings as our own mind and nature awaken. Chickens, ducks, farm animals in general have an instinctual quality to flow with the changes of sunlight and the forthcoming nighttime.

Animals, reptiles and the like know when to wake up, roost, and begin looking for food. Animals have a built in mechanism which begins to thicken their outer dressing. Snakes know when it is time to shed their skin and make a new outer covering.

We humans are no different. We are intuitive and instinctual. We do not have to let go of one for the sake of the other. We celebrate these two qualities and the unlimited abilities of our nature within and visible.

Likewise, enjoy the beautiful, the busy squirrels, robins and other wildlife contributing to the natural kingdom and our appreciation for the display of life happening. In addition, we realize our own liveliness unfolding and the creative process forming something new and remarkable.

Further, there is ever something changing around us. The sun and it’s various angles which take shape and make themselves known, shining through our house windows or as we walk outdoors.

Too, people change and bring more color into our lives on a regular basis. When we tune our mind and senses to notice the activity of life we uncover the diversity within any season and day or night in our lives.
