“Hidden Things”
These things out of our normal sight, then by what seems magical, appear. When we see them, it can feel rewarding, astonishing and surprising, sometimes very helpful. There is an invisibility, a depth to life, our personal self, created things and also other humans and life forms.
We may sense things there yet out of sight invigorating, knowing there is something more to uncover, realize and understand. The fact of knowing there is more to know and see than we first may uncover, makes life challenging and naturally stimulating.
When my husband and I picked out furniture and accessories for our home sunroom, we chose an art piece with depth of character. I could not stop looking at the art canvas. With consistent observation and the hope of new revelations on the not so obvious elements, figures, people and animals that rest hidden in the art.
People are that way. At first we are almost desperate to get to know them. Only to learn understanding others can come in a flash soon to find there is so much more to know about a person and people in general.
Nonetheless, we also come to realize there are parts of all of us, profound and mysteriously within. There are shy talents, intuitive abilities, creative ideas, yearnings, hurts, fears, and outstanding capabilities in each of us.
Furthermore, we as individuals have our specific backgrounds, immediate experiences, past and present memories along with old beliefs hanging in the corners of our minds and hearts. We are complex spiritually designed humans experiencing life. Secondly, we are in the constant process of evolving into the more of our spiritual and human dimension.
We are wide, deep with the possible heights unlimited in relation to our growing and development. Is it any wonder our art piece canvas painting has hidden images and scenes at first not seen, then with persistence and desire reveal themselves.
Moreover, such is the way of the profundity of life–the mysterious, the out of sight, becoming known. I do not know how many of you like and do puzzles. My family members who love putting the numerous puzzle pieces together in their –not always so easy to find places — tell me it is normal for the designer of the puzzle to have put dimly visible items in the puzzle.
This makes for constant anticipation to complete the puzzle with the satisfaction of finding those obscure and dimly lit puzzle contents visible to the eye. So we know it to be with ourselves and in the living of our life.
In conclusion, we know intuitively of the more within things, people, nature, a scene, problems and experiences. Then, steadily want to be receptive to allow these concealed anomalies to surface.
Along with one aspect of ourselves to remember—our tendency to feel we know what there is to know about a person, a child, ourselves, spirituality, a dilemma, including knowledge, things and pieces of art such as our painting in the sunroom.
Enjoy your adventure of the discovery of ‘hidden things’ in you, your mind, heart, in people, your experiences and in living life as a spiritually designed human being.
