A new day or a new year/new month bring a rested heart ready to ‘Begin Anew.'” Ebeneezer Scrooge had a burning question when we woke from a night of three visitations by the ghost of the past, present and future.

His first question to the people around him: Is it Christmas Day? Have I missed the opportunity to start fresh and cleared from the erroneous attitudes and life-style I was living?  He hadn’t. And he danced, elated to express anew. 

We want and usually crave to not only start over; we want to step forth regenerated and revised with a robust and generous spirit. There is that within us not wanting to miss out on the exceptional opportunity to make a fresh start.

We yearn to spread our joy and restored wings, to pour our treasures within outward giving to one and all. If Ebeneezer would have missed the opportunity of Christmas and the good will he wanted to cast around, he would have felt the loss of a valuable Godly gift—to begin anew. 

We never lose the quality of the Spirit of God in us of a fresh start. It is forever with and inside of us. Ebeneezer would have begun again the day after Christmas if he missed the holiday. He would not have lost his inherent right to shower his happiness forth and enrich others through his giving spirit and his wealth within. 

So it is with us. If we miss a so-called golden moment to express our exuberance or fill a project with our revitalized elation, we still can. We have endless chances at beginning anew. We do not hear this from the worldly belief. 

However, we have acted on opportunities arising in our lives and been so delighted we did. Likewise, I am the first to say, the set-up before my eyes is special and I best take advantage of the thing before me. Some things we can’t resist and see God’s hand and grace in it. We appreciate the fortunate chance at hand. 

Importantly, the Divine Principle at work in our lives is the inner spirit-given ability and thrust to begin anew, to have a go at it this time wiser, smarter and fortified with the will-power to fulfill our desire and see the results of our efforts manifest.

We have unlimited opportunities and holy chances to have a fresh start and move forth regenerated and ready. For this we are ever grateful, Amen. Happy New Year of fresh and New Beginnings of fortunate doors opening for us to express ourselves in novel, creative and fulfilling ways. We are patient yet ready to say yes to completing our projects and step into happy venues of creative expression.
