“Quickened Uplift.”
“Be proud of who you are, and not ashamed of how someone else sees you.” The quote asks us in today’s practice to be kind and love ourselves. Be appreciative of your face, smile and body. We can celebrate our specialties, the way we express compassion or how we understand another.
Spontaneously, be grateful for who you are and how you see things, explain things and express yourself. Appreciate the many ways you love yourself and show love to others. We love ourselves when we value we are alive and contribute to the world around us.
We each have ourselves, our uniqueness to give away. In giving we receive with a special bonus in the gratification we have given of our genuine selves and are raising the love needle in someone else’s life and in the lives of many. We affirm ourselves and appreciate who we are and how we give and express. And so we do.
