Recall the first time you entered a New Thought Ministry or a new church worship service such as Unity, Religious Science or another uplifting ministry. I remember well, walking in with my husband and son, walked into a theater in historic Morristown, New Jersey.

     Dr. Tom Johnson was about to begin his Sunday Morning Message. A dear friend named June told me about the church and encouraged our family to go.

     Then Dr. Tom began his message. We sat near the back of the theater. Didn’t matter. I felt he was talking straight to me. This is what I remember he said next: “You are beloved of God and you are loved unconditionally. You are vital and loved with the most powerful love, God’s pure love: Consistently with No delay and Right now.

     Dr. Tom used a few phrases quite often — “You are your own experience,” “Now is the time” and “This is the Beginning.” I recall in a counseling session with him, he encouraged me to claim great good unfolding in my life, now. I did just that.

     He was one of the most outstanding and influential people I came to know in my life. One of those people we meet along life’s way who influences with grace the course and direction of our thinking, actions and belief system. From then on I built on Divine Truth and Love.
