“Our Love”
“Our Love.” We have many qualities, abilities and gifts. Yet the greatest of them — is our ability to Love, to receive and give of our love. We know of love from within us, from other people, from books and also from Truth teachers, children and pets.
The best kind I know is when we express love for the sake of experiencing the unquestionable ability of love to uplift, heal a broken heart, revitalize our health, our finances and relationships.
Love inspires us to paint, take a walk during a sunset and reach out to help a person in need or an animal to rescue. Love draws human beings to each other. And as we know probably by now, the power of love in us has an attraction ability to prosper, meet a stranger who turns into a good friend or find the love of our life.
Also, the power of love, as who we are, can partner with our innate intellect and reveal deeper understanding and answers to perplexing problems. It is our love quality who has been accused of being wishy washy and fragile, when actually love strengths us and brings forth bravery from within ourselves.
When we feel loved, we can accomplish more than when we are separated in thought and feeling from love. What about the opposite side of us—when we are far from love or being loved? It is good to call a friend or another dear person to us. However, sometimes when we are sulky, we may not find the energy to do so.
I find being out in nature helps. I am more apt to tune into nature around me as well as having more awareness of the incredible oneness with nature and with every living being and alive thing. Furthermore, how can people befriend a rock and call it their pet rock?
Love does that. There is an intelligence and aliveness within all things. When we open deeply to comprehend our oneness with what is around us, those things reveal their ‘suchness’ and essence. They reveal their beauty and aliveness. Such is the case in meditation with a rose or another beautiful flower, person or natural item.
Love brings things, people, work, long car rides or boring jobs alive when we unite with the power of love. Love stirs and guides us into thinking and or feeling anew about something, someone or everything.
One time after our son became an adult and moved into his own home, I had the experience of loneliness. No one home and the house felt empty and I felt unloved. I read books on love and they pointed to the same idea: If you lack love, turn within and open to the quality of God, of love within yourself. The love which never leaves us or forsakes us, the love as our constant companion.
I knew a person who felt depressed and did not feel they had a purpose in life. One day the person was not sure what to do except go deeply and open within herself. She felt the wall of depression and asked something within her to give her a reason to go on.
In that moment her life purpose was revealed. She was to be an instrument of healing to others. She knew what it was like to feel unworthy, unloved and lacking in purpose.
Hence, she followed the call to be a healing channel for others in need. She began to write books on the subject of self-help and healing. And she became brave and ventured outside her home and healed while she helped those in need. She found her purpose in the depths of depression; that is the profound power of Divine Love.
We always have love with us because God is ever awake and alive in and around us. We have love which is closer than breathing and ever responsive to care for us, heal, uplift, guide and gently wipe tears from our faces. God’s love is a mighty constant and unwavering power and presence here inside and everywhere at all times.
We always deserve love. It is not withheld from us. Love is a gift of God revealing God from within and ever present. Love never leaves us or forsakes us. We are love and love ministers to us and fills the empty spaces and places in our lives.
We boldly and readily express the greatest power we are, here inside us now. Anytime we lack love; we open from within and ask love to be known. For we are ever united with God Love because we are love itself. Amen
