Smile
DIVINE IDEA–SMILE “Spiritual life is a life of cheerfulness. In India there was a great Master, whose main teaching was, ‘Keep smiling!’ A smile increases your face value. When a smile is full of joy, it will bring many smiles in return.” –Paramahamsa Prajnanan.
A couple thoughts come to mind. There are statues and portrayals of Buddha smiling. We can know there is a quality and a presence of grace in us that is always smiling and which has the ability to readily smile. You have proven time and time again the quality of happiness within you. When a friend calls on you by surprise perhaps with a gift in hand and definitely with a smile on his or her face as you answer the door. You might have been feeling low energy before the friend’s knock on the door. However, upon the sight of the endearing one, the low energy is replaced by joy and gladness in his or her presence. It was an immediate shift of energy. Notice those occasions when we may be feeling off and someone or some event raises us up and we feel uplifted and happy instantly. Kindnesses happen regularly.
When hearing a not so good report on the news or in person, we can smile inside knowing a higher and all-loving power is in charge and with and within the person or situation bringing forth good and wholesome, healing action. We can smile when hearing someone say–the economy is sluggish or my workplace is laying off. We smile internally or state verbally that God is their continuous and abundant Source of prosperous good. Or decree, God is blessing them now with new avenues of good. Knowing the universal/divine Truth and divine idea behind and within all things, improves the situation and person(s) immediately. It is a true gift to know the spiritual truth of things. We transform and prosper by our knowledge, spiritual knowing and certainty of the Divine Truth that blesses all.
Let a simple smile represent the inner and richly potent absolute truth about persons, events, and things, which is omnipresence and all-knowing. Affirmation: There is a center in us that is always shining forth rays of emancipating Truth.
