“The truest form of love is how you behave toward someone, not how you feel about them.” –Steve Hall

Message of Truth–The way we relate to self and others can make a difference in our well-being, wholeness, and happiness. Vernon M. Sylvest, M.D. seemed to have plenty of material wealth and worldly success. However, he was very sick and complete recovery looked bleak. Even with success and money he felt unsatisfied. The two important things to him now facing illness were knowledge and full recovery with restored health. As a result of his healing journey, he wrote a book entitled: The Formula.

In the book he gives precious knowledge and a “Formula for Healing.” By the way he did heal completely, feeling grateful and good about his life in general.

Vernon’s Formula helps others to live a prosperous, contented life, while experiencing wholeness and wellness. In the formula he suggests as a way of living to “Focus on love, trust, gratitude and respect for everyone and everything in every situation.” Quite an order–but oh the peace of mind and radiance of being as a result of genuinely expressing these gems of our inner Being.

Focus on love–when there is love for every person regardless, we experience peace and bliss. When we assume the mind set of trust for each and all human beings, we have nothing to feel guilty about. That is–we trust their inner divine virtues; we have faith in their inner light. No doubt holding love and trust in our hearts for all is a stretch. Yet, our well-being glows in the expression of these altruistic qualities.

Occasionally, it is good to ask ourselves–do I want to be miserable or content? In exuding love and trust to others, we are living by our inner Christ Light. We have the power and potential to live in this manner.  And, it is living by grace.

To restate: Sylvest suggests we include along with love and trust–“gratitude and respect for everyone and everything in every situation.”

Before we say it is a big order to actually live like this, try it. Practice first by knowing these spiritual attributes about self: I am love, trust, gratitude and respect. Too, the ability to express from each of these divine ideas resides in us. We are fully equipped within, having a full measure of these four spiritual qualities. Albeit, we will have to dive deeply inside ourselves to do so.

Indeed, we each need to rely on our inner God Nature to expand in the expression of love, trust, gratitude and respect for all. It is a purposeful call requiring a sincere reliance on these treasured components of our spiritually designed divine self.

Likewise, when we have a purpose that exceeds our human strength, we discover more of our wealth inside; we tap into the spiritual kingdom inherently within. There is nothing in the world that brings such inner fulfillment. We experience peace with ourselves, with people and all living things.
