Self-Realization Part II
Self-Realization Part II–In the unfoldment of expanding self-awareness, we learn to observe and come to know our thoughts, feelings, and beliefs matter. We give attention to our thinking and the ways of the mind. We learn how to be spiritual (or tune into divine Spirit) and what it takes to evolve as a spiritually attuned being.
An interesting part about living increasingly more from our Spirit rather than human conditioning, automatic responses, or from race consciousness is the ‘self.’ Self-awareness has much to do with our divine nature not our human nature. I am the grandest when realizations and the higher understanding come through me from Divine mind. I am blessed the most when I open and seek divine wisdom and transcend the human self.
Therefore self-realization is truer when the human being gives way to the divine nature or super consciousness rather than human consciousness. There is a statement of truth that says—“you cannot solve a problem from the level of the problem.” Become willing to rise to spiritual consciousness in order to experience the sufficiency of wisdom, grace, and spiritual insight.
Through each creative activity, with every story of a self-realized person, way-shower, and master teacher, we get in touch with more of our unique greatness. Watching a gymnast, great dancer, or looking upon a magnificent piece of artwork inspires us. These creative activities have taken place with the harmonizing of the self with its innate Source and power.
Even in the commonplace of life we also find the uncommon and the creative light that moves intelligent beings beyond limited views.
Taking up spiritual study, going on a silent retreat, the ways are countless that propel us forward and awaken us from within. Our soul fills with light and heaviness dissipates. By each spiritual word, communication, activity and practice, we engage with our inner Spiritual self and openly invite our higher nature to be realized in us.
In our growing Selfhood, we learn and reveal more of our inner strength. We let go of warn out ideas, beliefs, thoughts, and the people around us seem to change for the better. We influence people and things around us for the good through our inner spiritual connection.
The fascinating thing about life–when we face the most challenging obstacles, interruptions, and course changes, we learn the most about ourselves, the dark, the medium, and the blazing light of our soul.
Moreover, mystical experiences, epiphanies, breakthroughs, and revelations seem to occur in our lives when we are experiencing the greatest hurt, need, upset, or disturbance.
Of course the inner nudges, promptings, and longings for the spiritual can lead to insights and paths of spiritual awareness at any moment and in any experience. It is the nature of our inner and undaunted divine wisdom to find the way and the unknown becomes known and the light absorbs the darkness. “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it.” —John 1:5
