Heart-felt Courage
Musing and Prayer for the Heart–If discouragement has taken over in any area of my life or in my thinking or feeling, I look up. I look within the word and find courage.
Courage stems from the word ‘cor,’ Latin, meaning of the heart. Middle English describes the heart as the ‘seat of feelings.’
In prayer now I place both hands upon my heart area and appreciate my heart and its tireless work. I also give thanks for divine love which is seated in the heart. I let the purified love of Spirit within soothe and balance my feeling nature. My heart beats in perfect rhythm and harmony because it is of the Spirit and kept in well-being and wellness. My inner feeling nature is comforted, calm, and serene as I sit in the pleasant atmosphere of the divine Spirit of my being and within my heart, consciousness, body temple, and mind.
I commit to believing in the courage and wholeness of my heart and the conviction and energy to live in freedom from lack of courage. I have courage; I take courage; and I feel my union and oneness with Divinity and absolute Good. God within and as me lives this day encouraged and thankful for the wonderful presence and power of my living and loving heart so dear and courageous, Amen. I am so grateful!
Additional thought–the heart houses spiritual Joy. I join with the essence of joy in the heart and feel easy and lighthearted.
