For the remainder of 2016 and ongoing into 2017 —
Rev. Frieda facilitated and volunteered in a community social ministry drive and giveaway. The many churches, businesses, organizations and general public joined in and opened their hearts to participate, donate and help create the fourth annual Magnolia, Texas SOS successful Give-away event held on December 3, 2016.
Frieda King continues to maintain an active ministry website—revfrieda.com. In the website she authors truth messages, prayers, motivational and transformative practices and more, while inspiring many readers through her practical and clear style of written articulation.
Rev. Frieda continues to participate and volunteer in the local philanthropic Steel Magnolias’ Women’s group. Both Frieda and David enjoy their volunteer time at the Magnolia Friendship Center Senior gatherings and special events.
She progresses in pastoral coaching, counseling and giving inspirational talks. In addition Frieda is a contributing author to Unity Booklets printed every two months. She invites writing for others when occasions arise to speak and offer written messages.

September 14, 2016 — Frieda King will give the opening Inspiration and present the specifics on the ‘SOS Drive and Give-Away 2016.’ Steel Magnolias Women’s Group meets the second Wednesday of every month at 1:30 pm in the Friendship Center, West Montgomery County Community Center on Friendship drive, Magnolia TX 77355.
On-Going, 2016–Each Monday a Non-Denominational Meditation Group meets from 6:00 to 7:00 pm in the Community Building in Glen Oaks Subdivision off of Nichols Sawmill, turn at the Valero Station into Grand Oaks Boulevard. Directions: From FM-1774 (Magnolia Blvd.) in town of Magnolia, travel South on Nichols Sawmill Road about 1-1/2 mile and turn left at the Valero gas station, coming from town of Magnolia, turn onto Grand Oaks Boulevard in Glen Oaks Subdivision. Stay on Grand a little way, Community Building is first building on right, parking in front. Go to the right side walkway of the Community Building by the lawn and gazebo, you will see the door where meditation is being held.

Steel Magnolias is a philanthropic group who donates scholarships and gifts to community social ministries and local youths for higher education purposes.

September 9, 2015, Steel Magnolias’ Monthly Meeting, Friendship Center, Magnolia, TX. At the meeting I proposed a Give-away day theme to the group with ideas from the group. Also letting the group know David and I are willing to lead the Give-away day community project once again. The theme will be — coats, jackets and hoodies and shoes and socks — give-away drive for the Magnolia Texas School District Area. David and I offer our spiritual social volunteerism to SOS Social Ministries of Magnolia, Texas. Give away drive begins November 2 and runs the entire month of November. Give-away day is December 5, 2015. We are enthused!

The results from Hug Day at the Senior gathering at the Friendship Center could not have been better. People looked forward to their hugs. David and I hugged over 60 people today. It is a rewarding thing to do.

*The Dec. 6th Blanket and Bedding drive was a great success done in coordination with a Social Ministry, Society of Samaritans of Magnolia TX. David and I along with four volunteers gave bath towels, stuffed animals, slippers, bedding items, blankets, comforters, throws, sleeping bags, and other bedding items away to 40 to 50 people. I am grateful for the help we received from each volunteer and the abundant number of people who donated items. Thank You!
