I Have a Healthy and Whole Self-Esteem
Truth Message: Two questions we can ask ourselves to keep our self-image and self-esteem whole and healthy. First question: “Do I want to strengthen what I am feeling now?” Second question: “Do I want to cut myself off from my basic goodness?” Author of questions–Pema Chodron.
A robust self-esteem and self-image is our inheritance as an offspring of God. We have been divinely granted this. We are born with a pure and divine self-image. Debris can clutter a vibrant image of self. Dust, dirt, and smudges can distort our wholesome, unconditional high self regard.
Without question, our basic nature is unencumbered by self-degradation and doubtful worthiness. It is not of our spiritual nature nor our human expression to feel less than what our inherent well-being reports. The inner affirmative voice whispers, gently assures, and continuously supports your significance, blessedness, deserving, and necessary expression.
We cooperate with our wholesome, health-giving innocent nature and divine esteem when we encourage the good messages, the pure thoughts, and the feelings of agreement with self-love and appreciation for the humanly-divine expression and spiritual daughter or son we are. We are divine heirs; we have already earned the right to feel filled to overflowing with self-worth. We are needed and required in the world. In fact, we are spiritual beings carrying out divine orders of freedom from limitation and unconditional worth-ship and love.
Look in the mirror, feel and sense within yourself the truth of being: I am competence, brimming with ability and originality. I am quality substance of divine stature and potentiality. I am made of love and self-respectful, and respect other people just as they are. Every one of us is of the image and after the likeness of God. I salute this within myself and within all others.
