Debt-Free Living is Prosperous Living–What kind of a decree is this for people who are deep in debt? Undeniably, New Thought has consistently looked at falsity or error thought and affirmed the truth and positive, divine reality directly in the face of contrary thinking, speaking, and manifest situations. Affirming the truth with feeling begins to wipe away, to give form and visible manifestation to the absolute invisible reality. Sometimes when belief is strong enough, the Good we affirm and know in our hearts appears in our lives quickly and with ease.

There are a few forms of debt common to us–emotional, person to person, and literal manifest debt. We may hold in our thoughts how someone owes us or we owe another money, a favor–or pay back. (More progressively stated, we can feel a need to pay it forward–a good deed done to us.) Paying good forward frees our attention and emotions from being fixed on someone or something in the outer owing us. *Recall–in the light of absolute truth: We are free and clear of the thought or belief of debt so is everyone else. This is a divine truth and the light of understanding needs to rise from divinity within. *For additional clarity on freedom from belief in debt go to the ‘Debt Free Living’ Category, page 4 entitled Our Story–Debt Free Living.

However, we still have accountability. We have a responsibility to pay for what we have purchased or for services rendered. Just as we want to receive payment for services and goods given. Our American economy is dependent upon these arrangements. 

Concurrently, we may also be strapped with credit card and other financial debt. However, person to person debt–an intangible giving–seems the easiest to be free of. Simply give, give in secret or directly–open and give of yourself and or tangible money, things, or services. (Giving also includes words of encouragement, beholding another’s self-sufficiency, and saying a silent blessing.) 

Additionally, you can begin a financial debt free plan today by starting to pay off your smallest debt. It gives such happiness and produces needed encouragement when one of the debts is paid in full. Then we have the momentum and energy to continue with the next. All-important is your own inner state of mind, wisdom and guidance. Take your cue from Divine Spirit (God) and ask for clear and direct instruction within your heart with any idea of debt; emotional, person to person or financial. Inner instruction will be tailor made for your unique situation. 

A huge incentive is the happiness and light-heartedness debt free living produces.  Additionally, at the core of your being the divine principle wants and will prosper and provide in abundance once you begin humming with the spirit-filled tune of prosperous living, acting, and being.

We each individually are blessed; the blessings of abundance are already at hand and within us as well as coming to us and streaming from us. We are right now deserving of prosperity. We are so grateful, Amen.
