“Libraries are reservoirs of strength, grace & wit”
“Libraries are reservoirs of strength, grace and wit, reminders of order, calm and continuity, Lakes of mental energy, neither warm nor cold, light nor dark.” ––Germaine Greer.
Some of my most enjoyable places are libraries and bookstores. I find grace there–in the books in the people I meet and exchange ideas and conversation with. Friends, bodies of water, mountains, churches, monasteries, walks, play days, children and vacations give me grace.
Where do you find grace? Grace is the highest expression of the love of God within us which shows up in our lives on our behalf. If you would, feel for a moment how Divine grace has come forth and saved you from something happening, from someone, or causes something wonderful to unfold for you or through you……………. Grace transforms us in wonderful ways.
I remember the sunsets in Hawaii and how transcendent they were. It is good to keep our mind attuned to life’s graces, how they have touched us, elevated us, and been restorative. We feel deeply loved when grace is palpable and experienced.
Something to remember–grace is ever within and with us. It is of God; hence grace is everywhere present–with our loved ones, friends, and even so-called enemies. Spiritual grace is wherever life is and beyond.
Affirmative Statement–In deeper thoughts, I realize ‘thank you’ feels inadequate to express my gratitude for Divine grace. However I am grateful to my core for the grace of God in my life and everywhere. One way I can express my thankfulness is in extending grace to others. By doing so, I am a divine expression and give selflessly.
