Both the Burning Bowl ceremony and the White Stone Ceremony briefly are for a person to release past mental blocks or ideas and clear the way for new good–your goals, intentions and commitments–awaiting you and manifesting through you during the year.

If you have not released the old things of mind perceived as blocks to your good, write on a sheet of paper the states of mind, the ideas or attitudes held in your mind or feeling nature, separating you from manifesting the desires of your heart. For instance, one idea I wrote on a small piece of paper was “timidity.” I am willing to release any idea of timidity to make room for inner courage and bravery to move in me as I begin realizing new intentions and goals.

Furthermore, we release what we don’t want; then we affirm what we do want instead. Once you have listed any less than attitudes, habits, ideas and negative blocks on paper, release them in your heart. Then burn the sheets of paper in a safe place. The best is outdoors or in a fireplace. Watch them burn. You are free of the blocks. Fire is cleansing and transformative.

An aside–my husband burned the small, few pieces of paper we wrote our release items on outside on our wet lawn–it had been raining. He lit a match to the little slips of paper and they burned completely. It was done.

Then, affirm the new idea, state, attitude and habits supporting your wholeness, success, and well-being. You are a powerful divine expression. Engaged with your inner power you can accomplish the seemingly impossible. Amen.

Keep your new attitudes and ways of being in a place of your choosing, a personal notebook or journal, for review and for visualizing and affirming you are who you want to be.

Affirming: I easily step forward with a revitalized attitude and committed intentions along with a robust inner attitude of positivity and new-found possibility and inner potentiality which manifests through me into formed experiences, successes, and expanded good. The intentions of my heart aligned with divine wisdom within out-picture and become realized in me and in my life. I am so grateful.

I have posted a White Stone Ceremony in the ‘Meditations Category’ of this website, Revfrieda.com. The white stone ceremony did not originate with me. I acquired the ceremony while in seminary.

I personally do an abbreviated white stone ceremony each year. Throughout the new year, I refer to my significant word or words, having come to me in prayerful contemplation and meant for me to demonstrate and unfold in the new year.

Regarding the stone—if you do not have a white stone, write the word on a light color stone. The stone is usually large enough to write one word or two. The size is usually an inch to an inch and a half in diameter. Also, you may write your new word on white nicer paper (symbolizing the white stone) to keep before you as the year unfolds. If you have further questions or insights, let me know at revfrieda@gmail.com. Or write me a note through the revfrieda.com, Welcome page. Go to site menu ‘Contact Info’ at the top right side on this page/Welcome page.

Above all–enjoy the process and believe in the divine power within you!
