Part II, Twelve Power Meditation, with discussion on Power & Imagination
From wisdom and love, flow with your attention to the throat area of your body, your divine power center. This is literally your physical and spiritual center of power as demonstrated through your vocal cords from your voice in its many forms, tones, vibrations and expressions. Each sound venue is powerful. Such as your singing, humming, silent, whisper, knowing, shouting, speaking low, medium or with authority and strength. With your voice box you bring the power of the Divine into being. Think of your healing waters showering someone or yourself with affirmative words of Truth. Also the silent word quietly known in your heart or in any power center is strong and alive with divine reality and realization.
Hence, meditate a minute or two on your power center in the throat, giving thanks and asserting you are guided by Spirit divine in every utterance, spoken or silent, you express.
And, again as the power of wisdom is not contained to the solar plexus and love area, the power ability innate within each of us is not limited to the throat area. You have access to power at every moment through the countless ways of individual expression, communication, and animation.
Positively, know in meditation in this moment, you feel Divine power from above your head supporting you and indwelling your entire selfhood. Declare: I am alive with Divine power and life. And I am revived with new potential and move forward with zeal, nimbleness and wisdom.
Note: So far this is a longer version of the 12 powers. Simply recognizing these powers as living divine ideas within and present in every part of you–as Wholeness. A shorter version–you may simply meditate with each power, using an affirmation that comes to you highlighting each of the 12 powers together or taken individually in prayer and/or meditation.
Reconfirm your commitment here in meditation to awaken anew, step into the stream of the Christ, golden-white light within you and in each Divine Power—Faith. Strength, Wisdom, Love, Power and Imagination, Understanding and Will, Order, Zeal, Renunciation and Life.
At this time in the meditation lift your attention to the power of imagination which includes the third eye area of the forehead. The corresponding Chakra is named the Third Eye, Ajna in Sanskrit. The picturing quality of mind (mental mind mapping) gets you from one end of an unfamiliar city or traveling route to another location. Imagination is your power to image, picture, and change any unwanted vision or scene of the mind into a more harmonious one is essential to human nature.
In strengthening your imagination and picture faculty of being, know it is stimulated by your feelings and desire to image or sense something. Literally looking at a picture of what you want to accomplish and manifest is helpful. As a person wanting to release 15 pounds cuts out a picture of a person looking like their ideal weight and displays it on their refrigerator. Or dreaming of a Hawaii vacation and making a goal or picture map of Hawaiian Island scenes.
The picturing and imagining power is called a power because it has the quality of imaging our affirmations, words, ideas, visuals, plans and intentions. To expand on, our picturing and visualization capability is directly connected to our hearts desires and images of mind without getting bogged down in believability or thought processes. For instance, if you want to experience increased success and happiness, image it. Picture power can and does add potent energy to bringing invisible good into visible manifestation for you or another.
In meditation now visualize a desired goal, dream or intention as a reality–you are living them now. Give thanks your visualization is so. Affirm your picturing power and ability.
