Our Dreams, Part II
People in our dreams represent something. The prominent Unity Minister in my foretelling dream, signified the voice of authority in me. And, the authority could be trusted. It gave the dream and the authoritative messenger authenticity and integrity. So the dream was believable therefore.
We may ask what the dream gave me: For one, the dream felt factual during and after the dream. Right away I began thinking about if such a drop in the stock market were to take place, what would I do. The dream was somewhat dramatic in that it felt like I lost almost everything. Actually I could have if I would have acted on fear thoughts and sold near the bottom or anywhere in between. So would a lot of other people. What the dream gave me was pre-warning. I was not shocked when the market began to descend. Plus, I stayed in my rational mind which enabled me to be intelligent and wise in deciding to sell or hold on.
Dreams can have archetypal figures in them. Such as the Unity minister represented genuine authority and a person I could trust. Archetypal figures are nothing new to our consciousness and the part of us possessing infinite intelligence. These figures consist of actors and standout characters and symbols throughout humankinds’ history.
Take Marilyn Monroe. She represents a sexy blond who probably was much more promiscuous than the average woman of her day. She would stand for sensual energy, playful and with delicate vulnerability.
Or really, whatever a stand-out, special person in our dreams means to us. Each of us holds the important key to understanding our dreams. Just as important we can ask our inner intuition and intelligence to give us more clarity and relate the meaning we are to get from the dream.
Dreams take faith. We need to be able to separate the valuable ones from the less important ones. We as the individual dreamer will know the difference. I found a helpful website giving names to the various types of dreams. I will put them in my own language and supply the website address.
