Topic:  God, The Divine Presence and Power, omnipresence, omnipotence, and omniscience. Your Life Essence.

You have heard or no doubt read the sacred affirmation: God and I are one. I’m sure like me, you have not felt or thought you were one with God all the time. The truth statement seems unreal at times. Yet, the verity conveys a deep and eternal transforming message.

You and I are always one with God (Divine Spirit) and one with each other.   Everyone the world over is too. We are inseparable from our Divinity—because we are divine whether we are aware of it or believe it.

Another truth about you and me–our Essence is pure good just as God is Absolute Good. It is the nature and name of God, Absolute Good.

If I had been in a truth teaching such as Unity or Religious Science for a few months or maybe a year, I might be challenged by hearing from the minister in the pulpit that God and I are one and Divinity is absolute good. Then to hear the same thing is spiritually correct for my neighbor and everyone everywhere. There must be a catch to the truth? 

I have come to believe and experience–now with brighter awareness on the subject plus more living and learning—the truth statement describing God is who we each and all really are—Divine absolute goodness. We however need to be receptive, conscious of or significantly desire the experience of God as Good in, through and as us. Maybe that is the catch?

Actually, we open up like a flower accepts a honey bee when our personal world of affairs appears to be falling apart. We feel inadequate humanly. It is a natural time for most of us to look up or within, if only to remember something bigger than ourselves.  We look up or inside for greater help we perceive is there.

Then we find an opening for divine help through our heart and or mind. We seek and find something more than our humanity. This offers a wonderful opportunity to find an indwelling grace and genuine goodness.

After all, we are one with our higher nature. We may seek in the outer a new or previous place of worship and/or a community of support. We may begin the study of spiritual Truth.      

Nonetheless, some people look up or inside for too short a time. An individual may find something else outside of himself or herself to fill the feeling of helplessness or inadequacy. Sometimes these things he or she finds are harmful and the person ends up worse. That is sad. The person will come to a time let’s affirm soon when the seeker finds their innate strength and Divine Power, their oneness with God.  

For sure, the Divine Truth of our individual oneness with God and the absolute goodness of our spiritual nature—reports we are more than our humanity—we are spiritual beings with much light, love and potential. Certainly these two truths are dynamic, heavenly ideas.

These sacred ideas of Oneness and Goodness help us wake up to our inner treasures and holiness. Moreover, recall how the Lord’s Prayer reads, “your kingdom come…on earth as it is in heaven” (NRSV). The early Jesus followers believed in heaven and sought to live filled with heavenly attributes in their human experiences.

I’d like to ask you to join me in bringing more heaven, increased light, love, peace and acceptance wherever you are and go. Doing this requires us to seek and practice to live the truth statement, God and I are one and live the companion truth—God is good and I am divine goodness expressing in the world of people, places, and things.    

Individually we receive from living these truths. We become happier, look at people from a higher, and kinder viewpoint.  Plus, the internal and outer blessings keep unfolding the more we express our God light. We become closer to the most beloved thing, our God Nature.  

Turning the subject to the many names we call God—it can be confusing when we are reading something spiritual and we see the name Universal Spirit in the writing? The names of God are many. There will be a focus on the Christian and Christian New Thought teachings in the list of names used to address God.

Beloved, Absolute Good, Divinity, Divine Spirit, Universal Spirit, Holy Spirit, Mother God, Father, Father God, Divine Mother, Light, Love, Wisdom, The Presence, One Presence and Power, Oneness, Holiness, Indwelling Light, Overseer, Protector, Saving Grace, Divine One, Mind, Divine Mind, Divine Heart, First Cause, The Healer, Creator, Good, Divine Protector, Divine Principle, Divine Power, The Holy Comforter, Universal Principle, Force, Essence, The Healer Within, Grace, I Am, The Christ Within, Spirit, Inner Christ Nature, God Nature, Divine Nature, God the Good. The Good, Being, Being-ness, All-ness.

A Meditation for realizing our Oneness and Innate Divine Qualities and Goodness:

I open wide within, welcoming into my awareness the light and love of God. I know and feel the Presence of Good in me now.

I sense a Divine lightness too.

Stilling my body, I feel the presence of wholeness, soothing and cleansing.

I attune to the divine light about me and within my whole nature, body, mind, heart, soul, and expression.

I let go and quiet to hear and understand more deeply Divine love in the silence now……

I am healing and healed now in the presence and wakefulness of spirit-filled love.

I linger in a bath of inner healing loving-life. I strengthen, soaking in the divine power, balancing my body temple, renewing my energy.

I bathe in the light of relaxation, restoring what needs to be restored.

I trust with the fullness of my heart as I confirm my sincerity to Spirit with a few deeper breaths–

Today is a God day, I seek to live it in awareness of divinity manifesting through my humanity in my steps, voice, feelings and mind of ideas.

Thank you dear beloved God, I am your light living and giving. We are always one.

I am filled with joy of the realization of a rich, holy nature. In oneness I live, move, and have my being. And so it is. Amen
