Sometimes our daily and weekly schedules get full. This appointment, that event, errands to run, a scheduled meeting with a colleague start adding up and we are running here and there with little time to plan, rest, be alone or be with loved ones. We may feel over taxed and desire to slim down the schedules, appointments and commitments. Sometimes life gets so full, it begins to drag down our enthusiasm, creativity and immune system.

Furthermore, we could struggle with ourselves, the things to do list or feel guilty about simplifying our schedules, appointments and work. At such times it might be uplifting to apply some loving-kindness and accept what our inner voice of guidance is asking for. After all, if we are miserable and need to rest and reduce our daily schedule, let it be OK. It is the quality of our consciousness that matters. To be right with ourselves first then go forth is a blessing to oneself and everyone.

Let these words be the words of your own heart – in affirmative prayer:

I stop fighting with my inner guidance and listen to what it is reporting. I relax and give attention to what is the best and highest way to live this day and the days to come. I release the need to rush, to accomplish every demand and commitment asked of me. Living a balanced and simplified life makes for a joyful life. This is my priority.

Thus, I let go of trying to meet every request and let what really counts unfold. My health, happiness and demeanor as I live the hours of my day are what is important. What is my state of mind at any given moment? And, what is best to maintain harmony, a loving and patient consciousness, composure and effectiveness?

I honor and follow what inner intuition relates. I follow the purest light within me and my intentions are set on having a healthy and peaceful consciousness that I bring to all things, people and activities in my life. This is what is important. I trust who I am and the guidance I receive. With gratitude and thanks, Amen
