We are taught to strive and strive some more. We may wonder what the meaning of success is. Is it a matter of money, achievement, enough sleep, a good job? Or is it an inner feeling of self- acceptance, of peace within, or perhaps OK with the way things are. As the statement goes: “things are the way they are.”

Perhaps it is a balance between feeling content and feeling there is value for me in this experience the way it is–high or low, success or failure or somewhere in between, or something else. Maybe life is not black or white, attainment or missing the mark, happy or sad, satisfied or unsatisfied. Life for you and me may be perfect the way it is now.

If life is about discovering we are spiritual beings and living one with Divinity, then there are no black and white situations or experiences–simply opportunities to become more spiritually aware.

Let’s go into a time of meditation with the suggested quote from Philippians 4:11:

“I have learned to be content with whatever I have.”

I choose to become calm within by saying a favorite prayer or quote. As I do I begin to invite relaxation in every way. As I turn from the outer I allow all things to bring me into a peaceful state.

I am love and I open to understanding divine love more. I am a center of peace and I am receptive to let go and experience the peace in my soul. I am prosperity and I rest assured that in this moment I feel fulfilled, knowing I am one with all that God is. I am fed in prayer. Hence I realize there is one need to receive and trust in divine wisdom, knowing my needs are being met in this moment.

I relax even more confident in love’s pure support. In a time of non-verbal prayer and little thought, I center focused on God and things sacred–

I sit with divinity and simply be.  I may ask a question and listen. However I am led to be non-verbal in a time of meditation, I follow that nudge.    In the quietness…………

With a heart of gratitude, I come forth with a brief prayer–perhaps the prayer for protection or another statement that fortifies my understanding that I am a spiritual being ever one with Divine Spirit.

I center myself throughout the moments of the day with these divine words:  I am holy, holy, holy, I am whole. God and I are one. Divinity is where I am and I am Divine. So grateful for knowing the Truth of being, I am that I am, Amen
