“Bravery”
2016 seems to be calling for bravery. Simply listening to a presidential debate takes courage in the current election cycle. We’ve been at electing a US president since 1789 when white men who owned property were the only ones who could vote in the beginning days of our fledgling democracy. It has taken and continues to take nothing short of endurance and determination to be as inclusive in the US election system of today.
Daily we call on the bravery within us to get on with those items, tasks, and commitments we are accountable for. People look to us; we are each valuable and priceless to one another and to the people of the planet.
Quick Transformative Practice — I decree: I am brave and also daring today, stepping forward with finesse and a radiant confidence because the holy spirit of God resides in me and flows through all I am and do. With certainty, I am doing those things appointed for me. Divine love and wisdom, our inner courage and prowess sees us through the jobs, projects, phone calls, appointments and tasks of today.
I am audacious, ready, adventurous and strong-hearted, willing to spring forth and accomplish with divine order and with a demeanor activated from a superb power within. I do all before me with love, excellence, enthusiasm and appreciation for people. I am ready; and I face problems, moving easily through any schedule changes or interruptions. I get the job done with fortitude, grace and the companionship of divine righteous activity. I am relaxed — I am brave. With heartfelt gratitude, Amen
