Changing Our Mind
Sometimes I hear people say, “I want to change my mind but I’m afraid what people will think.” Or “I’m timid about change.” However we view change or particular changes in our lives, we have the privilege and inherent ability to revise, rethink our choices, decisions, preferences, likes and dislikes. Each day we gain in wisdom, illumination, maturity, experience and knowledge. Sometimes ever so slightly, then some days we make big leaps forward.
As well, we may have a new idea, a better way to move beyond the former and approach specific challenging things or everyday patterns in our life. We can change our minds and see things differently in our hearts.
More importantly, in this moment let’s pivot and turn from an outer focus and realize divine guidance comes from within our consciousness, through our hearts, minds, flashes, insights and messages from inner and outer sources we now are ready to see and comprehend.
In Affirmative Prayer let us know in the first person: I am open to the finest guidance, Divine, immediate and Omnipresent. I am guided in the truest ways by the clearest and most vibrant light of Infinite wisdom and Universal, untainted love. Today I perceive things from a new light of heightened awareness.
Surely, if circumstances and things need to be revised due to my sharpened vision, transformed values and purest of intentions, I begin anew, change and improve my course of action and go forward One with the greatest intelligence, the wisest power within me. I feel confident in my onward walk of life, making choices, acting on decisions harmonious to the best within me and for the foremost benefit to the outer world. I let it be so. “I possess the audacity to change my mind.”
