Most of us share a familiar thing. Perhaps at different times and many happy and productive days in between. Sometimes we can get caught in discouragement. It’s not our permanent state, however. It’s temporary. Discouragement does not feel comfortable though.

Take heart, literally. We are holy made, correct. Yes! Myrtle Fillmore tells us “God is love, and it is the nature of Divine love to give life, joy, peace and health.” This points us to love. When we rest in love, as a baby crawls into the arms of a loved one when they need upliftment, tears dried and soothing comfort. 

As we remember the truth of our union and inseparable nature as a Divine child, daughter and son of God, we begin feeling loved, optimism and reassurance. We know sincerely the Divine Presence loves us always and is closer than our very breath.

With certainty, it is here present as the comfort of love, the encouragement of knowing we are well and loved. We realize peace and health are qualities innately ours and as us continuously. 

Etymonline.com tells us encouragement is defined: To “Make Strong, Hearten.” The Etymology of Courage comes from ‘corage,’ old French, which evolved into courage. ‘Corage,’ meaning the heart and seat of feelings. Cor is a Latin derived word and interpreted as heart, feelings. 

Our healing balm is to take heart and be ‘en’couraged (put in) as we begin to fill with the shining cup of knowing we are a Divine expression of love, we are made of love. Love lifts us, ministers to us and tells us all is well, like an angel whispering in our ear and renewing our heart by the infilling of joy, peace and our birthright of wholeness of life.

In prayer now: We still and open every pore of our being. We take up and allow Joy, Love, inner Strength of being, peace and encouragement to circulate throughout our mind, move in our body and fill our heart with well-being.

We are not separate beings off from God and our divine inheritance, we are in the midst of an ocean of loving comfort and peace-filled thoughts, including feelings of oneness with Divine Love and life.

Our heart is renewed with the flow of love and the assurance of courage to accept and honor our birthright of Love, Joy, Peace, health and wellness.

We pass it along, knowing as we give we have. In the presence of light, wisdom, and love we live, move and have our being. Thank you God of omnipresence and love, Amen.
