Make your own guacamole

Guacamole is packed with nutrition, tasty vegetables, good oils and fiber

It is easy to make and the ingredients are reasonably priced and readily found. Find your own recipe or use this one. Enjoy the benefits!

Mash a ripe avocado in a serving bowl. Add a teaspoon of fresh chopped onion. A teaspoon or less of chopped garlic clove. Add teaspoon or less if desired of cilantro or another variety of parsley. Salt to taste. Add your desired amount (suggested 1/2 teaspoon to a teaspoon) of diced hot pepper to your liking.

Fold in freshly chopped tomatoes when in season or hydroponically grown.

Tip for guacamole–mix a teaspoon to a tablespoon of your preferred amount into a bowl of salad greens as a salad dressing or as an addition to your favorite salad dressing.
