“The present moment is filled with joy and happiness. If you are attentive, you will see it.” –Thich Nhat Hanh

A quote “By the sea we forget to count the days” implies absorption in what we are experiencing. How wonderful to wholeheartedly be painting, singing, having a conversation with someone, giving a lecture and being in the moment 100 percent. In these instances we have transcended time. Dancing, laughing, playing with children or other activities can be times of forgetting ourselves and the problems of the day.

Notice when you have forgotten about the hour of the day and your planned schedule–when you let yourself be immersed in the richness of what you are doing. These times can be healing, enriching, fulfilling, and blissful.
