“Love’s Spontaneity”
Today for at least 24 hours I take up the spiritual practice of up-building self talk in my thoughts, feelings, beliefs words and actions. I cease with negative images, thoughts and words toward the self. If I tear myself down, the tendency leads to the basement of the mind which could breed more negativity. I break with any such cycle through positive activity or affirming goodness about self in front of a mirror. Wherever I am I begin to silently decree the great things about my individual selfhood and personhood.
I am love; I am lovable and loving. People are attracted to this clear and clean love and I am grateful for a harmonious bond with all people. I look for and find great treasures and traits within myself. Likewise I see and give attention to the bright qualities and strengths of others. Whether I agree with their words or beliefs, I find things I like and am grateful for in others, particularly those who I might disagree with or have concern about.
Today I connect with the creative energy of wholly love within the universe and within the sanctuary of myself. I dwell in self love and in giving of holy love in my thoughts, words and beliefs toward and about others. As I practice the spiritual exercise becomes easier and takes on a joyous spontaneity and ease. I am grateful for the creative force of good within myself and within all people, Amen.
