Sometimes this time of the year can bring on the blues and/or feelings of depression. Although, we know low thoughts can be felt in any season. A healing anonymous quote states: “Noble deeds and hot baths are the great cures for depression.” Sounds as practical as getting sleep when we are warn out and tired and taking a warm to hot shower to feel soothed.

Good deeds do lift our spirits. Doing nice things for others help lift us out of feeling low or lonely. It couldn’t be a better time of the year to surprise people with your random kindness and genuine thoughtfulness.

To illustrate, instead of sending Ms. Doggy disagreeable thoughts, I have begun loving and praising a neighbor’s dog who is turned loose to roam the neighborhood during the day. The act immediately gave my physical body a lift and I felt peace as a consequence. Acting from a noble heart, brings positive change to ourselves. Thus, consciously enjoy living life every day and feel peacefully blessed.
