“Sound Mind, Sound Spirit.”
2 Timothy 1:7 states we have been given inner might and strength, benevolence of Spirit and bravery and so many more divine qualities and attributes. We are made of God light, substance and potential. Certainly, we can rise above pettiness, degradation and falsity.
This day and every day are perfect occasions to lift above gossip, even news reports, people and information espousing special sources of truth. Besides, there are so many words being said about this problem, that person, these people, a particular group of people.
Clearly, there is but one Source of truth — connect with your highest wisdom and light within and let the purest Truth and verity be related through your mind, heart, intuition and intellect.
Likewise, the ideas tossed out and circulating through the airways and abounding channels of various communications are mind boggling and far from uplifting. Nevertheless, we have our own lives to live, our work and purposes to fulfill.
In all this, let’s keep tending to our inner and outer garden of life. By garden of life I refer to our individual assignments and daily tasks and also our inner garden of thoughts, ideas, feelings and beliefs we hold and live out. We need to tend to our inner consciousness by being self-aware and awake to our inner domain first, remembering life unfolds from the inside out. Media, advertisements and outer voices of chatter would have us believe otherwise.
If you feel energy being drained due to too much focus on outer things, voices and opinions, retreat and align with your inner sanctuary of dominion, love and light. When we stay connected to the strength at the core and center of our nature, we are fed, fortified and feel our inner power and calm.
Take time today and now to drop with the appearances, noise and clamor of the world. Feel, taste and join with the sweet serenity of your inner well of wholeness and wise knowing. Let the clear and clean vibrations of Spirit inside cleanse and bring peace, in gentle and effortless invisible motion throughout our mind, heart and body, then extending through us out into our activities when we are ready.
Affirmative Statement: Anchored in the light of our Spirit, we are undaunted and use our inner rheostat to turn down the noise and endless commotion of the world, appreciating and tuning into our internal light of the grace of soothing comprehension and understanding. Amen.
