“Talents”
My website, revfrieda was under the weather for a few days. Fortunately I have a local web person who is talented and knows technology and website skills. I simply call him and presto he fixes the problem.
Beforehand however I bravely had an idea, “I will fix the problem whatever it is and it will be done.” One challenge, the explanation looked like it was in Greek, confusing. I began my efforts and very soon realized no intelligent person would continue since I did not understand what I was doing or where to begin.
I called my web person. He fixed the problem in ten minutes. Then did not charge me. I intend to send him a gift. The point is I felt helpless, then very grateful someone was there I could call on.
We have our personal talents too. I have no doubt people in our life are amazed at our individual abilities, know-how and talented areas of expertise. I can wiz out a letter in jiffy time–a letter to anyone. It’s one of my gifts.
Someone else might not think of putting a presentable letter together. We can too easily take others for granted. While, we may also underestimate our special creativity and talents.
This moment is the best time to appreciate our baskets of assets, abilities and those things we do well and naturally without fuss or hesitation. Give thanks for them and the one’s you want to stir up.
If we admire someone else’s skills and natural capabilities, tell them how you appreciate and are grateful they are in your life and are who they are. While you are doing so, be grateful for your own and the one’s you continue to develop.
