Prayerful Musing on the Light We Are
With an affirmative voice I know: I am an unlimited divine expression of God. My inner light is vibrant and has boundless ability to shine forth radiantly warming and inspiring all.
Prayerful Musing—‘Tis the season of awakenings, shining our inner light more lustrously. We instinctively know we have more spiritual light capacity to realize and reveal. Have you noticed that life calls us to shine our light more brightly and dig more deeply into our spiritual well-spring. It is not always easy living a spiritual life by universal principles such as do unto others…, love your enemies, forgive and love unconditionally, give consistently-constantly, no blaming, and the list goes on. I understand why Jesus as written in the gospels went apart or to the mountain top–he went off and prayed regularly. Living a spiritual life takes that. It takes centering ourselves in Spirit, divine power, light and truth.
We can increase our inner light through visualization. It is there already in its full potential. Through our senses, imagination, inner sight, inner knowing, we can be attuned to our inner light, at times even see light in our mind and body. Sometimes we may see light in the outer, within a person, or present with you and with others. Divine light shines and shows up literally in our life, sometimes in surprising ways.
Prayer and meditation increase our inner light, our inner spiritual radiance which is our divinity. Focusing on God, opens us to divine light. Meditation with our gaze on a candle flame sets our mind upon and reminds us of our inner vibrant nature. Looking at a clear night sky mirrors to us and tells of the more within us that we cannot or do not always see at first glance. Looking more deeply within ourselves reveals our expansiveness and greatness.
In the stillness now I quietly affirm: I am an unlimited divine expression of God. My inner light is vibrant and has boundless divine ability to shine forth radiantly warming and inspiring all……….
As we exercise our sight and senses, open our mind to see and behold our inner light, we are acknowledging our holiness. The spiritual way showers and giants that have come before us have revealed our divine nature already here in us. And the greatest gift–It is joyful to evolve the abundant facets of our spirituality, especially our inner glowing divine light.
In the moments before me I hold in my heart these laminating words: I am an unlimited divine expression of God. My inner light is vibrant and has boundless divine ability to shine forth radiantly warming and inspiring all.
