“Jesus always knew God and followed guidance from God. Yet how do I know which ideas are based on divine guidance, not my own speculation? I know within my soul, for I feel a confirmation that I have received divine guidance.

“I remember the words of assurance that Jesus spoke: ‘For nothing is hidden that will not be disclosed, nor is anything secret that will not become known and come to light.’

“I ask and God answers. With divine guidance, God is telling me: ‘I am with you and I accompany you wherever you go. I will go before you, guiding you along safe and sure paths.’ The spirit of God guides me with a message of love and caring that resounds within my soul.”

“The Lord went in front of them in a pillar of cloud by day, to lead them along the way, and in a pillar of fire by night, to give them light, so that they might travel by day and by night.”–Exodus 13:21
