Twelve Powers — The Divine Idea of Power within Humankind
Taking up the divine idea of power, thoughts turn to Genesis 1:26 where the writer of Genesis states human beings have been given dominion of the things of the earth. We have been given Divinity–made in the image and likeness of God.
The indwelling faculty and Divine idea of Power within is our powerhouse to get to know and use in the highest and truest ways. Each of us has tremendous power. When we link inner power with our spiritual potential we can do great things and feel we are in the flow of a stream of loving energy.
There may be a hesitation inside to give up and in to the spiritual power. Our ego human power has had control of the reins of our inner power supply. A reality check will remind self — there is one source of power, creative Divine power emanating from the silence, the deepest and purest power Source. Hence the human ego graciously lets go like John the Baptist let go bowing to the love and power of the Christ nature.
The reason for prayer, for Truth affirming, for communing with Divine Spirit, is for exercising our will power and choosing the evolved and spiritually born Divine Power within our being as we live and give, communicate and create. “The power center in the throat controls all the vibratory energies of the organism. It is the open door between the formless and the formed worlds of vibrations pertaining to the expression of sound” –Charles Fillmore.
We are dynamos of power, power to heal, restore, begin anew, design and imagine anew. Joined with our imagination power innately inherent, we visualize ourselves successful, attracting and giving the greatness within ourselves and feeling fulfilled in doing so.
We have the ability to connect with divine power by our choosing to unite with pure power at hand as the energy and living life streaming through our veins. We connect with power in language and when we communicate in song, dance, art, and in any creation.
There is power in our vocal cords: visualize yourself speaking forth words spiritualized with Divine light, originality, and love from and of your core Godly power inside.
Filled with Spirit and Power I affirm–I am holy, holy, holy, I am vibrant and attuned to innate Divinity. I bring divine power into my every thought, choice, feeling, word, activity, time of rest, song, prayer, meditation, silent space, creation, and work of art. In play and fun, I celebrate the grace and joy of the power flow. When in need of increased power, I call on the reserve of power within. I am most grateful for the restorative and creative power of the divine as the one power Source of my being and life essence, Amen.
