The time is upon us to ponder and then write down the intentions we want to hold in our hearts and manifest in 2017. Questions like — What have I missed doing this year?” What do I sincerely want to fulfill in the new year? What keeps popping up for me to get on with?

In addition, I have found it wise to also stay open to those surprising things that spontaneously rise up in us to move forward with and do. It happens. I am enjoying a new sun room addition off our living room that was not on my intention list. Having a nice and comfy home was on my list of fulfillments however.

So let your inner messages be heard, honored and written down by you. Have fun with it. This is a creative endeavor. Abundant blessings to you as you meditate and contemplate on your beloved motivations. Plus, do recall what you’ve accomplished in 2016 — Give Thanks for them!

Here are more ideas to stimulate those hankerings, desires and what we thirst to accomplish.

“What matters most to you? What would you like to build, create, or nurture in your life? What would you like to let go of? Who would you like to forgive in your life? How do you feel when you are your happiest self? What makes you proud? What word(s) would you like to align yourself with? What fears would you like to release?  What are you grateful for?” (This paragraph from Mindfulminutes.com/intention-setting).

A help to move into a time of inner quiet to observe the intentions that rise:

“In the silence are born new aspirations, new inspiration, and renewed faith. In the silence you walk with the Lord of your soul and commune with your indwelling Christ (Nature). Silently you rest in (holy) sustaining love, and draw upon the mighty, unlimited power of (divine) strength. Peace, be still; very still. You are in the presence of (pure divinity). In glorious wonderment you tread on holy ground.”

Be silent, all flesh, before Jehovah. Zechariah 2:13 Pause in the Stillness of the Quiet within.  Amen
