Luke 22:42 “Yet, not my will but Yours be done.”

“Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me; yet, not my will but yours be done. 43Then an angel from heaven appeared to him and gave him strength.” (According to the Luke writer, Chapter 22, verse 42-43, NRSV).

Let these words be the words of your own heart: I surrender to thine will be done–lead me. Not my will: I do not know the ways or whys. I give up to God. Give the problem, the need over to a Divine loving Spirit indwelling, knowing only Good will unfold (a knowing in the heart). I realize it is senseless to act without Divine instruction and light. ‘…not my will but yours be done.’

And so I allow it to be.

Let God and let life unfold according to an inner higher power and divine way, attuned to a guiding light within.
