“Birthday’s”
I have known some people who wanted to disregard their birthdays; downplay it as though to ignore would diminish having lived another year of their lives.” Looking at life through sacred eyes and from a wise heart report the truth of our journey through life—it is remarkable and precious.
Approaching birthdays like a five year old is something to observe and emulate, at least the fun and joy, not the mess and wildness of a room full of five year olds with all the cake and cookies they can eat. Beyond the sheer excitement, there is an inner happiness to have lived, and even more important, celebrating the adventure up to now and realizing the gift of life being lived and continuing—an adult realization.
Celebrate your special day recognizing the birth of you. Throughout our history some races have been deprived of knowing where and when they were born. It was kept from them, even their family of origin. Seems cruel. Glad civilization has moved beyond that.
Birthdays are for remembering our individual specialness and what we are bringing to the world. It is a time to celebrate what it has taken to come to this moment in awareness and calendar years. Also, the important inclinations of our soul and what is being energized in us to create and accomplish.
Whether it is our birthday month or not, we can take moments now and be appreciative of who we are and the gracious people who have loved, inspired and guided us through the years. We trust the divine power and blessedness of this day and each day and year to come. We move forward focused and centered in God’s presence and in noble intentions.
We continue in thanksgiving for the flow of enthusiasm, inner wisdom and intuition; for friendships and supportive people, appearing in our lives providing the exact things we need to give birth to our specialness and ideas the world is waiting and needing to receive. Validate you, your uniqueness and reason for being. You are loved and surrounded by the highest and best life essential, the Omnipresence of God, Amen.
