Human beings are more alike than different. And usually have healing needs. Sometimes these needs come from stirring events, swift changes that may shock our system and emotional fabric.

For instance, people can be laid off for no obvious reason. Sometimes well qualified employees do not receive the raises or job advances they counted on or deserve.

Or, dear ones pass away suddenly without warning or flood waters disturb our subdivision or worse invade our home. There are some healing needs that take more consistency, contemplation and prayer than others.

In these experiences when we feel stirred deeply and the healing need takes what it takes, we persevere and align with our deeper and holy self where we are within us in our breath, heart, thoughts and words.

Also our environment in the locale where we live has parks, trails and places to walk and take in the peace from the healing power of mother nature. Local community colleges may have exercise rooms and indoor walking tracks convenient and reasonably priced.

I personally go to our Catholic Church property that borders our back yard. They have created a sanctuary where we may walk and also pray. There are places to sit and be still with our Holy of Holy’s within. In slowing down and letting the negative fade we give our body, mind and emotions time to rejuvenate, restore and heal.

Remind yourself  Silent Unity is a phone call or internet access away. They may be reached at unity.org/prayer. Too, there phone number is 1-800-669-7729. Silent Unity is always open. At the bottom of this page phone number and internet address for Silent Unity are listed also.

When we are in need of peace, quiet, deeper understanding and healing we want to surrender to the inner call and join with spiritual truth and wise practices that regenerate us. We want to release the old, the bothersome thoughts and emotions and open to the wave of purified and clear thoughts and ideas of the uplifting kind.

We want to listen keenly, as well, and hear the Divine speaking wisdom, clarity and restorative words to us and our whole being. This is pure healing. It is within us and we hear directly from the Source of wholeness and vibrant life itself.

We have the right to slow down, to choose our schedule wisely. When it feels stressful or we need a lighter daily load, we can reduce, delegate and ask for help from others. As well, when the feeling of pressure arises, we clarify our needs and prioritize and/or reschedule our time and activities, bringing our daily life more in line with peace, healing and joy.

We are not alone in healing needs, in feeling pressure by daily demands, chores, work and activities. As we bring self-love, care for ourselves and balance in our day to day living we feel more in charge, empowered and add to the general sense of well-being of our families, neighbors and all.

In affirmation: It is my birthright to heal and live life in peacefulness and glowing health. Likewise, I live life knowing I am eternally partnered with the Spirit of God indwelling and the Divine Light within every human being and life expression. I am healed and whole. With Gratitude, Amen and Amen.
