In living our life day by day we observe the Human and the Divine activities in us and our conversations and experiences. The truth of these two realities of our humanness along with a recognition and acceptance of our divinity harmonizes and expands both.

We want to accept the human and divine of us as one whole, manifesting through us and our life. My friend’s husband was in the emergency ward. Her friends wanted to know what happened. By time I wrote my friend no doubt she probably was fed up with people asking what the human reality was and how it happened.

I focused instead on the husband’s divinity. And, in knowing his indwelling Divine healing capacity was already mightily healing the husband’s physical body. I did not, however, ignore the painful experience the husband was going through.

Yet, he was receiving care–a care which allows the healing process to continue in peace and rest. That is the human and spiritual activity cooperating as one. The human side was the actuality he, already in the emergency room, stable, comfortable and receiving needed treatment to physically heal. There is a relieved peace felt when our loved ones with a physical need receive the care necessary for complete wellness.

The spiritual was at work as perfect life and healing through the outer help and simultaneously within the husband. The doctors and nurses, the spouse and the mighty wholeness were present and active. The body was engaged in responding and involved in the restoration of the husband to wellness and complete healing once more.

When we tune into the spiritual, the outer, the appearance is lifted by the truth of our divinity mighty in the midst of us and every human situation we face.

Let us pray in the stillness—We are grateful for the human and the divine nature    joined together as one magnificent whole. They are one already. The humanity is divine in its union as one dynamic expression. We are grateful, Amen.
