One of the qualities of our spirituality, a gift of divinity, is peace. It’s not far off, it is here within our hearts, in our mind, and in our body. Peace is present in the world. It is the quality of wholeness within every human being, in nature, water, and all life expressions.

Peace is a significant part of our nature–the ability to become calm naturally. When we are upset a calm voice from another, a hug, a prayer, another hand reaching out to our hand and touching all have the capacity to calm and bring serenity forward within us.

It is present now and here already–a quality of peace ever available and ever within, waiting to be known as every one of us. Peace is a prominent aspect of our divine nature. And the blessed quality of peace expressing through us is power-filled and brings peace into our words, movements, gestures, facial expression, creative projects, and conversations with another or others. Hence, we are the voice, expression, quality, healing balm, and messenger of peace. Peace happens and blesses through you and I. Likewise, our pets bring peace into our world.

Every morning we can give thanks for peace, stirring it up within us, connecting us, and waking us up to our God nature. For the peace we express is our divinity expressing through us.

It is time to fill our life with abundant peace, to fill our communities with peace, to fill the meeting halls with peace, to bring the restorative rich power of peace into each and every gathering, encounter, and place where we are. We are peace. Our God nature urges us to fill with and express peace.

With believability we say, I am the presence of peace that makes a vital difference where I am in this world. Thank you dear Divine Spirit, Amen.

Open to inner peace in prayer and stillness:  “At the core of my being, there is peace…I breathe into the presence of God within me, and come to the still point at the center of my being. I am at peace.” Advent Booklet 2014
