I was recently visiting my brother many states away. He is in his eighth decade of life. Then he said to me, I don’t have long. However my brother has no known illnesses, just age. He has a sound mind and has slowed down some. Yet still works circles around younger people.

Abruptly, I wanted to toss the idea aside. Mostly was able. However it stuck. Our son said he’s preparing you, mom. It got me thinking about life. I realize since 911 most of us were startled beyond what our eyes were seeing. Probably most of the people working at the Twin Towers before the airplanes hit commonly thought they had much living to do.

Nevertheless, our truest certainty in life is we are eternal beings. I’ve seen movies and most likely you have too where a dead person visits Earth and then wants to stay. They soon find out they can’t. It’s only a brief stay evidently once they have crossed over to the other side.

Even though I add, if we are attuned people it is possible to communicate with people who have moved beyond this plane of expression and readily available. It’s different than if they were sitting alongside of us, yet it is evident and actually happens.

Fortunately in living our lives we can be at peace knowing our life is in God’s care not sometimes, all the time. With awareness, we feel a sense of ease and comfort for the spiritual reality. Still, it’s best to make the most of right now.

With thanks in our hearts for life, we live in gratitude we have fullness of life and an eternal journey always before us and unfolding within us. So it is with my brother. The idea is peace giving. Most Divine Ideas give us a sense of happiness and serenity within ourselves.

I have heard many a minister and an abundance of writers relate — live life to the fullest in the moment and all the moments of your life. That is how I approach my brother. Giving him the most attention, love and understanding I can without going overboard. I love him and want good health and a sense of ease present in his living. Don’t we want that for everyone, including ourselves.

So it is with our individual lives. Sometimes we think we have forever and we do. Yet our forever can change scenery and bring us to a new plane of expression. What I wish for each one of us is this: Feeling the peace that passes all understanding we acquire during meditation; feeling satisfied with who we are and what we have not tomorrow, in this eternal now.

Moreover,  to have a deep sense we each are OK and so is everything else unfolding around us. We control our life. Outside of that acceptance helps to maintain composure with all the happenings and dilemmas in life. I know we hear this much. Honestly truth is truth; and the closer we are with the higher light, love and God within us the more likely we are one with the center of calm and equanimity inside ourselves.

Grace, we have a tranquility about us and streaming inside us. We have equipoise and a deeper realization of the essence of life we are, unfolding harmoniously and smoothly in and as who we are.

In our highest wishes, affirmative thoughts and prayers for others, we know this for them whether friend, relative, associate or someone we have just met or will meet. We are equipped to wish everyone well. And it is spontaneously available  as we live from the center of lightness and Divinity, closer than breathing and here at hand.

The Kingdom of (God) of Heaven is here and closer than our heart beat. We are made of it. We accept the wholeness, goodness and eternality of our God nature and the image and likeness we are created in. It is present and we are living eternal life here and now and on and on. We know this for ourselves and all. And so it is, Amen.
