I quiet my mind and listen within. I find inner peace.

“My meditation may start with reading a Daily Word message. I close my eyes and repeat the affirmation in my mind. When the mind wanders, I bring my attention back to the affirmation. This practice sets a peaceful intention for my day.

“Other times, I meditate by focusing on the breath. If thoughts arise, I observe them and return to my breath. A radiant presence may emerge from the depths of my being, leading me into the inner space of light. At my spiritual core, nothing can disturb the calm peace of my soul.

“No matter how I meditate, I connect with Christ within. I let go and trust the unfolding of my true nature.”

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.—Psalm 19:14
