Now is a good time to give thanks for the many gifts, unsought blessings, financial support, emotional and physical strength and support.

Most importantly, heart-filled gratitude for God’s presence of love, light and power urging us ever upward and onward. For these and so, so much more, we are appreciative and genuinely grateful, Amen.

Reflective Prayer— (Please join me in giving thanks–let these words be as your own. Also I encourage you to write your personal thankful list and place it in your Bible or sacred area).

For everything I give thanks to 2016. There have been sad times, disappointing times, times of physical strength and discomfort. Prosperous moments have mostly dominated the 2016 personal scene with of course some good surprised and occasional stress. Yet grateful any material stress has not lasted long.

Political and governmental concerns have been there. However, tuning into God has been and continues to be the saving grace of personal balance, peace of mind and complete faith in Divine presence and power working through all things big, small and unseen. 

There is an undaunted faith in me for which I am much appreciative. So grateful I can hardly find the words or feelings of thankfulness. The best way I can give thanks is feeling and filling with heart-felt gratitude and in paying divine blessings forward. This is the surest way to be appreciative of the instant, constant and abundant Source of all good, God.   

Thankful list feels infinite; I continue: Unlimited thanks for family members and dear close friends and family. For creative outlets and avenues of personal expression and giving, I overflow with thankfulness. For financial, emotional and physical sustenance, energy and substance and support, I am dearly grateful. Inner guidance, divine wisdom, creative bursts, moments of feeling Divine inspiration and bliss have been present and ever so near for which I give thanks. 

For those sought and unsought blessings and serendipitous occasions, I could not be happier about. Especially for trips and visits with family I give thanks for precious moments of closeness, companionship and unhindered love. Safe care and keeping have been the invisible shield and constant protective power, maintaining divine protection at all times for dear family, each friend and every person known and unknown.

So anticipatory and filled with gratitude for the coming new year. Sure there is uncertainty with a new administration and changeful periods both personal and global. Change is inevitable. We know for certain, in any change our inner and outer mind & heart set are most important and prepares the stage for happiness, contentment or suffering.

God is my Source of unfailing good whatever the form, circumstance or gift may be. I am ready for increased attention to practicing the presence and a continuation of giving the credit to God for blessings known and unknown, expectant and not expectant. 

Thank you in advance dear Infinite and Personal Presence and Power for the flow of plentiful amounts of wisdom, intelligence, know-how and openness to successful achievements in everything I am given to do, create, organize and participate in. For life, love, and an abundance of all good in every area of my life, I give gracious thanks in advance.

For a superb and wonderful adventure of 2017, I give thanks. It will be a fruitful, healthy and good year, Amen.
