“The Peace Gift”
“No one and no thing can keep my good from me.” Buddha gave humankind peace and freedom. Jesus offered the peace gift to all. He sought to live in peace through forgiveness, in his loving words and actions and by his teachings, stories and parables.
In any personal, global or relationship communication our first act needs to be offering peace from our heart to another or others.
As the year 2017 draws to an end the 31st of December is usually a day of peace for New Thought Teachings. There are early morning meditations in many New Thought churches.
I have a thought, the idea of the last day of any and every month being dedicated to Peacefulness. Living in Peace the entire day. If falter, return to peace. A peace day last day of every month—I propose it.
Hence, somewhere on earth and right in the USA people will be praying and in meditation centered in peace. Let’s pledge to join in at any time during the 31st of December or whenever we are drawn to take some moments and fill with the Christ peace inherent in us. How can I assert that statement?
By the spiritual fact we are divine and the light and presence of God indwells us. By us I am stating ‘every human being’ is inherently divine.
We tune in and merge with the peace inside our mind and nestled in our heart. Rest in the quiet with a favorite prayer then wait knowing peace is abiding and present within. Peace will be as a shining gift of ease and a feeling, knowing all is right and well.
