You and I have enormous qualities within us. We may try to shrink from what our inner spirit tells us we are capable of. Nevertheless, we can disregard the sincere truth of our powerful divine nature only for so long.

Even though our path of our unfolding nature may not be straight uphill. In our meandering evolvement, we are becoming awake to and tapping into expanded capacities of our innate spiritual potential.

Indeed, this is why each major religion or society has at least one prophet, way shower, or outstanding person who demonstrates the spiritual powers and shows the results of tuning into and living from their spiritual nature. Holy people, messiahs, master teachers, gurus, and enlightened human beings reveal their inherent, undaunted selves for our benefit.

Undeniably, this is the reason why Jesus chose to enter Jerusalem and face his adversaries and people in power, including those who plotted against the Master Teacher from Nazareth.

Likewise, Jesus who became known as the Anointed One was proving his teachings and standing on the very principles he spoke of and taught to his followers and disciples. 

Furthermore, Jesus made his points about the Kingdom of Heaven, of God in our midst through his words of Truth, miracles and good works, stories and parables, and by demonstrating the power and potential of Spirit through his actions and decisions. He wanted humanity, the common people to the high priests and those in command to emphatically get the “greater works” each person could express and bring into manifestation (John 14:12). 

To illustrate, Charles Fillmore — the cofounder of the Unity Movement — in referring to the divine potential lying at the heart of humanity said, “Divine love in the heart establishes one in fearlessness and indomitable courage.”

Positively, as revealed in the New Testament Gospel writings on Jesus, this is what was being portrayed throughout Jesus ministry and then in the unfolding events during the last weeks of his life, beginning with his decision to journey to then make his entry into Jerusalem, fearlessly facing the crowds of people, the Roman leaders and his Jewish foes, concluding with his trial, crucifixion, resurrection and appearances thereafter.

He did not do this for naught–but to reveal the presence and power of God residing in our midst, in the power at hand and flowing through our veins, a potential and faith more than adequate to surmount and triumph over any problem, challenge, or mountainous experience we may encounter and face.

Truly, we are to be open and become more and more engaged with our immense and transformative spirit inherent ready within us and fully able to walk through any formidable and challenging situation, one with our full power and transcendent nature and experience successful achievements and grace-filled accomplishments. In this way the fruits of Spirit are revealed through us.
