Marcel Proust wrote, “Let us be grateful to people who make us happy, they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.”

I learned today a special person passed away the first of October 2018. He was a Unity minister for many, many years. Upon hearing of his passing, I became grateful for a couple of reasons. The number one good thought was the fact I told the individual how he blessed my life at a time of personal need. He honored and saw my worthiness when I required a bolstering spirit.

We each have souls, special people who grace our lives at the right and appropriate time we need them. One such person was Rev. Blaine Mays, (Ordained 1957) who served as Senior Minister in Phoenix, Arizona for over twenty-five years.

He served the Unity and New Thought Movement in many capacities and made a dynamic difference in the world and in my life. I connected and spoke with him at a time I needed his welcomed and accepting heart.

In his ongoing journey of life after life, I see him experiencing the ‘paradise’ Jesus visualized. God speed and Divine blessings to you in all ways beloved Rev. Blaine Mays.

Hence, my reminder and  point today is do not hesitate, call or write from your heart your gratitude for the person who upheld you at a moment you required it most. Whether it was a challenging experience or a blessed gift they gave you.

In some of those problem times in our lives we are open and can learn and gain the most.
