To shine your brightest light is to be who you truly are.” –Roy T. Bennett. The inner guidance faculty is sensitive to our inner questioning and desire to follow the high road of Divine guidance. We want to step forward knowing we are on light-filled and solid ground in our decisions and actions.

One such example took place for me on the first day of early voting in Texas. We have a local politician who holds a prominent position in the vicinity where we live. The person is not in the party who I voted for. There was uncertainty within me whether to vote for the person or not.

The morning I voted and in the shower I received clear guidance to vote for this individual. That it would be easy to check the box for the candidate in our town if I so choose. Once in the voting booth, I marked the ballot for my preferences and went back and checked the candidate in our town.

Dilemma solved. If I did not received the morning guidance, I probably would not have voted for the important person in the town who gives much to our local community.

Then there was a doctor muddle. I could not make an appointment for a yearly exam with a physician who is outstanding. This had to do with an important yearly exam.

Then this morning again, I was guided to ask for an appointment with the favored doctor. Where a month ago I could not get a timely appointment, I asked again and my appointment with the preferred physician became available.

Importantly I was guided to ask again and not give up. Then from the office receptionist she gave me an appointment in about a week. I was thankful for the promptings of Divine guidance once more.

We have a guidance system who is alert to our spoken and unspoken needs for guidance, Divine light and clarity. Know it is within you, act from it and give thanks for spiritual guidance and right direction. How comforting to know we have an inner guide ever working on our behalf.
